American Integrity Insurance Company announced the results of its 2013 Insurance Agent satisfaction survey at the company’s quarterly meeting. The survey results reported that insurance agents who do business with American Integrity are “Very Satisfied/Satisfied” with American Integrity’s policy processing systems, customer service, claims handling and overall policy coverages. “Our agents are the face of our company and our team does everything possible to ensure they have the tools and support needed to serve insurance policyholders. I think the results of this study prove the investment we make in our agents comes with a great return”, stated Amy Brown, American Integrity’s SVP of Product.
In the age of electronic communication, American Integrity has maintained the human element in insurance policy issuance by providing insurance agents access to policy underwriting specialists ensuring the customer has the proper insurance policy coverages for their homes. Almost 100% of agents felt that their ability to speak with an underwriter was “very important” or “important” when determining where to place new business. “We do business with American Integrity because they believe that getting the policy coverages right at the inception of the policy is as important as correctly handling a claim after the policy is issued. Talking to real people makes the difference,” said, Jody Harter, Executive Manager of The Villages Insurance Partners.
As a part of the study, agents were questioned about social media usage which has increased by over 10% as compared to last year. Facebook had the highest participation rate followed by LinkedIn and Google+. “What we have found”, commented Amanda Richter, American Integrity’s Marketing Leader, “is the increase in our social media presence has increased our ability to reach our customers in an expeditious and timely manner. We feel this is even more important during hurricane season when the need to get crucial information out very quickly is even more important and our agent network is a vital part of this time sensitive communication process.”
The last component of the survey studied American Integrity’s claims handling with agents increasing their satisfaction in this area over 10% from the prior year. Teresa Heller, American Integrity’s VP of Claims, said “I’m glad to see the increase in claims handling satisfaction. Our networks of agents are a great asset in so many ways, including assisting our policyholders with connecting with our claims staff and providing us feedback on our claims processes and service.”
